We are Gate Keepers:
My friend supposes to attend conference meeting at 3rd
floor of Chrysler Building.
Also, He supposes to carry orange badge and by mistaken He got yellow.
At entrance of floor, security guard stops him and:
Guard: Sorry, Sir I can’t let you in. Because you are carrying yellow badge and yellow badge entries are allowed only after 3 hours of meeting.
He: By mistaken I got this badge, please let me in. This is important meeting for me
Guard: Sorry Sir.
He: Gentleman, I am not sure how I get this yellow badge, I think there was some misunderstanding. But please let me in, I suppose to be on time and I am holding some major part of the meeting agenda.
Guard: Sorry Sir. I can’t help you in that and also I can’t let you in, until you have right badge.
He: I am simply requesting you and rather than understanding the situation you are holding me out.
Guard: Sir, I am not holding you. I am stopping that yellow badge. Persons holding orange badge are only allowed to pass this gate else none can pass this gate.
He: See, you don’t know me. I can fire you
Guard: Sir, I don’t think so that’s necessary to know who you are.
He: You fired, right now.
Guard: Right now! Right now I am doing my job. Let me do my job and don’t fuck around here until you have right badge or you fire me on papers and I got proper notice with procedure.
Background: Earlier before recession, Guard on duty was Software QA engineer in some IT company and my friend was software developer and now-a-days he does conferences to explain about how beautifully he designed software and how they can be useful.
