Preface:
Achieving quality in software is not enough; we must come up with excellence in software quality.
Since beginning of SQA, we are talking about bug free code, i.e. no live site issues, but you can’t find any site/app that is bug/defect less. Why we are not able to achieve bug free code till yet. We have so many processes to test software quality and ensure that product is bug free; we follow SDLC and now most of the companies shifting towards Agile software development process. Yes, that’s test-driven methodology even though, are we on right track and ready to provide bug free code?
Have you ever faced live site issue in your product? I am talking about live site issue those fall under QA miss not those are expected due to change on third party software. You might be tester, QA analyst, QA lead, QA manger, QA director, QA Engineering VP in your Organization, look into your project for which you are responsible.
Look into your organization and the product that your are testing. Have you ever faced live site issue? I know you can’t deny that you have not faced live site issue.
Few of guys will not facing more live site issue and few of them will be facing more live site issue, don’t say that your product is not stable that’s why you are getting more live site issue and once your produce will Be stable than you will get almost nil live site issue, if you are saying this, then stop saying this because nobody will agree on this crap. Product is not stable have different definition; it’s not deal with your testing quality an un-stable product should also be zero bug free code.
If you say that your product has beta release and that’s why you may expected some live site issue, holy crap. Even Beta product must be zero bug free code.
Now again look into your product, if your product is zero bug free code on live. Are you 100% sure that no live site issue will occur on product.
Yes, that’s true that nothing can be 100% prefect in life, then I will have one line for you: “you should quit testing if you can’t achieve excellence in Software testing” or never called yourself QA guys ever. QA Excellence tends to 100% perfection and live site issue free code i.e. zero bug free code.
If we understand software quality excellence, we will able to achieve 100% perfection in QA. We just need to understand few things and that’s it.
We don’t need to follow any automation testing rule or manual testing rule, things is just need to understand what we are doing and that’s it. QA will hit 100% perfection.
